Purpose

The aim of the new plant is to produce 100,000 tonnes per year of alkylate, an environmentally friendly high-octane component of gasoline used in automobiles and aircraft. The project uses licensed technology for the sulphuric acid alkylation of isobutane with olefins (butane-butylene fraction) and regeneration of spent sulphuric acid.

Scope of work to be performed

– Development of design and estimate documentation for the project phase;
– Construction of the plant under an EPC (design, procurement, construction and commissioning) contract.
