Aktogay MPP Expansion Project
Project objective
Expansion at Aktogay MPP with a $1.2 billion investment to double the volume of sulphide ore processed from 2021. Annual copper production from sulphide ore will increase to 170 kt between 2022 and 2027 and 130 kt in the decline period. Mission
Construction of the new shift camp for the second sulphide plant.
What was done
300,000 meters of cable products were laid, 10,000 pieces of equipment were installed. More than 120 employees of the company are involved.
Result
Completed installation work on power supply, APS, GGS, SVN and SCS in 20 residential blocks with a total capacity of 3,000 people
